I've received and worn both pairs of briefs.
* Modal Snugs with wide waistband and side pockets and
* Cotton Snugs with wide waistband and side pockets.
Yes, both pairs have side pockets.
My definite favourite was the Modal Snugs. These are the best kind of undies anyone could wish for. They didn't fall down or ride up. They made you forget you had undies on at all!! 🤭 I'd even go as far as saying of all the Snugs I've bought, (around 10 pairs) these would have to be amongst the top most comfortable. The wide waistband is perfect for my shape (chubby and womanly) and I didn't have to hitch them up. The leg length was perfect. Stayed put. No creeping up at all. I simply love them ❤️
The Cotton Snugs were very close behind but for the fact they did occasionally need hitching up. Not much or very often though. Other than that, the comfort level was comparable to the Modal Snugs. Again the leg length was perfect and they didn't ride up.
I wore them under a dress, with jeans, and with leggings. Blissfully comfortable all three ways. I wore them all day and night to give them both a good test run. They performed excellently.
I'm quite unwell and unfortunately spend way too much time in a recliner or in bed, so to not have to be bothered at all with rearranging my undies back to where they should be, is so beneficial and a huge relief. More so than you would imagine.
My review is nothing but glowing of both pairs. I'd certainly put an order in, especially for the Modal Snugs once they're released.
My waist measurement is 100 cm, my hips are 110 cm and my usual size is 14.
The bottom two photos in the bathroom are of the Modal Snugs and the first two in the bedroom are of the Cotton Snugs.

They are so soft and comfy!
I'm not sure why you need the pockets, but I guess they'll come in handy for something one day!!
Bought for hiking, as was fed up of knickers that rode up. Supremely comfortable, couldn't tell I was wearing them. Great for staying dry all day, even when working up a sweat. Will buy more.
Not sure I'll ever need the pockets but they are very comfortable and the pockets aren't noticeable under jeans or sweatpants. Very happy with the floating gusset, wish all your undies had that because it is so useful.

Perhaps I am alone in the sheer amount of idle time I spend at home and puttering about my (hidden) yard in my underwear. Happily however this is the case for me and what I have long realized is that my life would be dramatically improved if my boxers had pockets. What I didn’t expect is that when this dream came true, that they would be so comfortable. All I can say is that I am so grateful to have lived far enough into the future that these u dewar exist.
